Research database

This is a database of research organisations and research data collections in Namibia. It was prepared as part of a contract to the Ministry of Education in 2002.

It is intended that ultimtely it will migrate to the website of the National Commission for Research, Science and Technology whan that body is established

Girls and science

A set of webpages produced for UNESCO. They constitute a training programme for a variety of clientele with the aim of encouraginging more girls in Africa to enter scientific careers. The programme was developed for the Africa Centre for Guidance, Counselling and Youth Development in Lilongwe, Malawi. 2007

Company activities

Most of the work is related to the development of curricula in Africa andthe Middle East as education systems move from secondary education for an academic elite to universal secondary education.

Work related to the development of teacher education systems has also been undertaken. Here the main focus has been on the move from traditional academic programmes where studenst where taught, in the main about teaching to programmes centred on practice
